Superheroes Day celebration will allow students to appreciate superheroes and their dad as their family hero. They may need to imitate the characters they admire will enhance their imagination and giving them freedom to express brave parts of themselves during class activities that are prepared by teacher for their respective classes. It also teaches them to acknowledge their limits and weaknesses as qualities that make them unique. They will learn that admiring superheroes doesn’t have to become a getaway from reality but has to remain a fantasy that is helpful for coping with reality and accepting it. This will help them stay realistic without getting lost in an imaginary world. Students can look up to and learn from superheroes because outside of their costumes they are real people with real difficulties and weaknesses. This event is in line with Aristar curriculum to support students’ Physical, Personal, Social, and Emotional Development as well as to promote awareness of their culture , celebrating Father’s Day in school and with their family during the culmination event.
