


Let's Pre-Kindy Program details
PLAY BASED LEARNING APPROACHES
This program is aimed at children under the age group 2-3 years old. Students’ self-help skills, academic, physical, and artistic breakthroughs using interactive play, exploration, and responsive interactions are highlighted in this program. Problem-based learning is valued as an approach, both inside and outside the classroom, to prepare these toddlers in their developing years as global citizens.

Develop primary sensory skills through physical, musical, and artistic approaches based on the curriculum
Listen, understand and vocalize communicatory content and respond using simple thought
Develop interest in picture books in reading a story
Handle and move different objects; show awareness of simple self-help skills; begin to make relationships with peers and familiar adults; demonstrate a sense of self and begin to manage their own feelings/ behavior
Count and organize objects; develop object permanence; develop an awareness of physical shapes, space, and measure
Express curiosity for other people especially their family members; explore objects or places with regards to their similarities and differences; discover toys with different mechanisms and begin to learn to operate them
Express imagination through physical action, sound, and role-playing
Develop interest in Chinese children's songs and explore simple words learned through these songs
